I have a bad feeling it's going to show in the long run that Micah Nori, an offensive minded coach is who the Magic actually needed instead of a defensive minded coach like Sweeney. Time will tell.
Just in: The Portland Trail Blazers are hiring Minnesota Timberwolves lead assistant Micah Nori as the franchise's next head coach, sources tell ESPN. Nori -- widely regarded as one of the league's top assistants -- has been in the NBA coaching ranks since 2009 and now takes over in Portland on a multiyear deal.
@Shadr0ck@TheGhostOfGeert So You want to take a 31 year old who has been getting constantly injured-- the most recent one a calf injury which leads to Achilles tears?
I am not seeing your basketball IQ here man.
@BethMooreLPM Don't mean to sound like a hater but Wemby has a lot of maturing to do then.
Didn't shake hands w/ his opponents after losing & had an absolutely awful post game press conference where he didn't give any credit to the Knicks. Also had bizarre "See y'all later never" end comment
@KaiBOBOtto@AniruddhC1108@tonalber Too bad our franchise doesn't have a player about to get $250 million contract only getting 4 points in a Game 7 ๐ญ
@PaolosAttorney I don't know... before the shoulder issues Fultz was a BAD man. Look at his highlights at University of Washington.
Still think Fultz easily had the potential to be the best PG in the game without the messed up shoulder.
I'll easily die on that hill.
@MagicHenryP Same here, I had to do some digging when those two surprisingly came off the board so early lol
I imagine with the Timberwolves' underdog success in these Playoffs, Nori is going to be the # 1 candidate for teams with HC openings.
@StanleySwanson0@The407Podcast_ I agree they are definitely hanging Paolo out to dry tonight, HOWEVER, let's not forget Paolo went 5 for 20, including 0 for 9 from three last game. Any consistent scoring from him in that 2nd half could have thwarted the Pistons' run and Game 7 wouldn't be happening.
@bykevinclark@LifeasaMagicFan It would be the most "2025-2026 Orlando Magic Thing" for them to go into Detroit today and upset the Pistons. That's why I'm going in with zero expectations lol
