You who spoke the world into being and hold all things in Your infinite wisdom,

The nations stir with rage,
Leaders wield power like swords,
And the specter of war looms over Your creation,
Threatening to unravel the fragile threads of peace.
Europe rises, NATO bends,
And the shadow of destruction creeps closer,
A storm that could swallow cities, lives, and hope itself.

Father, we seek Your mercy.
Stay the hands that would ignite this fire,
Soften the hearts hardened by pride and fear,
And guide those who govern to paths of reason, not ruin.
If it be Your will, let wisdom prevail over madness,
Let dialogue silence the drums of war,
And let Your children—every soul You’ve breathed life into—be spared the abyss.

We lift up the United States,
Its leaders, its people,
And ask that You grant them discernment—
To know when to stand, when to step back,
And how to shield this world from chaos.
If it must be, Father, give strength to those who resist the tide of violence,
And courage to those who seek Your peace above all.

Lord, You see the will of the people,
A chorus that outweighs and outnumbers those who desire war, chaos, and destruction,
A multitude yearning for harmony, not havoc.
Amplify their voices in Your divine council,
Let their longing for peace rise above the clamor of the wicked,
And bend the course of history to their righteous cry.

You alone are sovereign,
You who calmed the seas and parted the waters,
Who sees the end from the beginning.
We are frail, we are Yours—
Do not let us destroy what You have made good.
Wrap this earth in Your love,
And deliver us from the evil we summon upon ourselves.
