@TheDiepod Maybe they're afraid of a sort of the fanbases backlash sentiment in seeing what a fan does with a mere fraction of resources/funding, causing fans to pull away? There's no prospect of monetary gain present, and if there was, they'd be within their rights to CnD them. I dunno.

@JeriTheOG I concur, the reigns can't be handed over so readily. This is a sentiment I share thinking about many other hypothetical returns of 'dormant' games. The teams developing such titles really have to be tapped in and comprehend what made those games work in the first place.

@JeriTheOG It makes me wonder if the staff is even there. You reckon a lot of the Hudson/8ing staff that made the games they're known for in the series are still active in game development? If not, who can take up that mantle?

@JeriTheOG I'd love a new one. Up until recently I would pop in my Primal Fury copy to go through the arcade mode for fun, or go back to Beastorizer on PS3 via PSN Classics. I feel the same about certain titles overall.
