@BigDaddyT2367 @jannik_files I think you’re both somewhat right. My understanding is once you are over 30 you can skip 1 masters 1000 a year. Same applies once you have over 12 years on tour. So a 30 year old who went pro at 18 could skip 2 events. Other players do withdraw due to injury/fatigue.

@Big3Tennis I’ve been 3 times and queued each time. I joined the Q about 5:30, bought a grounds pass and was in before the first matches started. Twice I then got resale show court tickets for the last match of the day. Grounds tickets in the first week are excellent.
