Final weekend in Seria A at The Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. A classic this evening with goals at both ends, the home side unable to hold on. I’ve wanted to come here for so long! 🇮🇹
Bologna v Inter Milano (3-3) #groundhopping
4 of my favourite grounds this season.
Stade Adrar, Agadir 🇲🇦
Stadion Rajko Mitić, Belgrade 🇷🇸
Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, Tbilisi 🇬🇪
Volksparkstadion, Hamburg 🇩🇪
Montenegro part two, Budva📍
Last day of my trip consisted of taking a bus from Kotor to one of The Adriatics oldest settlements. Absolutely loved this extended weekend, so much to explore! 🇲🇪
Montenegrin Prva League action this evening. Possibly the most stunning backdrop at a football ground that I’ve ever been to. Trips to Kotor and Perast this weekend - what a truly beautiful country! 🇲🇪
FK Bokelj v Sutjeska Nikšić (2-3) #groundhopping
@german_stadiums You can! I stayed in my hotel bar for a few in the end as couldn’t find any bars in close proximity - I’m sure there were but I was knackered after the match…
House of Soviets looked the part though.
Saturday evening football in Transnistria, or Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
I've been chasing this tick for a couple of years now - Just outside the capital of Tiraspol, the club has three grounds. A short thread...
Sheriff Tiraspol v FC Milsami Ohrei (3-1) #groundhopping
@butteriesgenii I’ve waited to coincide Sheriff playing at home for bloody ages. It feels as though you were off the grid, seemingly very few tourists too - would recommend stopping the night as well!
@rhiannonjayne02 Really easy! Border guards spoke English, tell them the number of days you’re staying and they’ll give you an entry card/slip. It’s paramount you don’t lose it as huge find can occur so I read.
It is also commonly known as the last stronghold of The Soviet Union, not acknowledging the collapse.
Transnistria is the only flag in the world that still bears The Hammer and Sickle!
Lenin statues, Ladas and Soviet symbols everywhere...
