It is 1 year since the first lockdown.
From locking down too late, to PPE shortages, to not lifting Sick Pay, to failing to fix Track and Trace, to not giving mental health services the funding needed, to not rewarding NHS staff with a decent pay rise, the Tories have failed us.
Still so reluctant to embrace the fact I'm an adult, I want the absence of responsibilities and the freedom to fail without consequences for just a little bit longer please
I've just watched a man for 5 minutes straight plucking his nose hairs outside Aldi, I have so many questions, but the big one is why have I just spent the last 5 minutes watching him 😂
So, just hours after Boris Johnson assured us schools are 'safe' and will stay open, he shuts them all.
But only after allowing them to be open for one day so everyone could infect each other & take the virus home to their older relatives.
This is scandalously bad government.
Whilst the UK clapped for 10 weeks to then remove free parking for NHS workers, France has just awarded its health workers a pay rise worth £1800 a year each. Our priorities are broken.
