Mali 🇲🇱 began #COVID19 vaccinations yesterday using the 396,000 does received through #COVAX! Minister of Health of #Mali led the way, being the first person in the country to be vaccinated.

Frontline health workers across the country will receive the vaccine first.

New global tracker shows that teachers are largely being left out of COVID-19 vaccine priority groups in lower income countries.

Vaccinating teachers protects them in the community so that they can continue to teach in person and schools remain open.
