@CalPolySWE hosted 34 companies for their 43rd Annual Evening with Industry last Thursday. During the event, they awarded $44,000 in scholarships and recognized students and faculty for Outstanding Women in Engineering, Men Empowering Women, and Most Supportive Professor.

Over 60 Cal Poly students volunteered at the California Central Coast VEX “Turning Point” Tournament this past Saturday. @CalPolySWE hosted the competition, which allowed over 200 high school students to showcase their coding skills through various challenges.

Congrats to the Cal Poly Rose Float team, which won the prestigious Extraordinaire Award during the 130th Rose Parade in Pasadena Tuesday. "Far Out Frequencies," made by students from Cal Poly SLO and Cal Poly Pomona, featured astronauts and aliens communicating through music.
