Went to an Arkansas basketball game this year, I was walking out of the stadium, and was trying to find the right exit to go out of. Took a while and I noticed DJ Wagner walking with his mom through the concourse.

He probably didn’t want any fans to stop him, but I asked to take a picture and was the nicest I’ve ever heard an athlete be. He asked me how I was, told me and my family happy holidays. He had a huge grin on his face the whole time.

It hasn’t been the ideal path for DJ, but he’s taken all of it in stride. It’s a shame he won’t be a hog anymore, but I’ll always be a huge DJ Wagner fan.

@TreyDaerr I’d like to see Wagner and Knox stay. I loved the dynamic ark had this year with a couple elite freshman and some vet players in the system. Help guide them and grow as szn goes on. I think Knox for sure stays with cal.

@therandomsec I’ll agree that a s16 is disappointing w talent we had, But every hog fan knew we weren’t getting past Arizona if we met them. That was a matchup nightmare for ark. Az is so good and so deep. Front court amazing and that was ark flaw all szn was a weak front court and short bench

@WildcatsTongue Honestly at this point I think it’s more of a bit for most of these guys than anything. I’m sure they support both cal and UK, as they should. but they just know it will cause a stir on socials if they publicly show support for ark over UK.
