A week before the last SuperBowl we released @GamblyBot on X and immediately saw massive traction. It was an innovative solution to a problem many bettors share. The bot is right at the core philosophy of @gambly - removing friction from the betting process. We've sent millions of betslips through this bot across platforms.
Along the way @pikkitsports released a solid competitor and it made us double down on our bot efforts. Today X cut both of us off - turns out my old company Better Collective/Action Network was negotiating an exclusive deal with them. We never even got a proposal or a chance to bid against them.
The exclusivity is very disappointing but also temporary. I'm sure we'll be back up, especially as X realizes that competition will yield a better service for their users.
In the meantime you can access @GamblyBot in a variety of ways, just check the pin post for details.
We will keep on innovating - there are dozens of fun projects on the roadmap. Definitely check out the iMessage integration we just released and "Voice to Betslip" through Siri.
Today we're launching the largest guaranteed NFL Survivor contest in history, with @Polymarket: $21,000,000 up for grabs.
Why try something this crazy?
Well, it all started 32 years ago, when I was 6 years old, helping my dad make his Survivor picks...
Of all the impactful exits from RotoGrinders over the years, BigT's was the one we felt the most. Excited for this chance to invest in RunPure. Even more excited for what we can do with @gambly on the Bets side.
Over the last couple months we've made some exciting changes at @RunPureSports
Industry legends @CalSpears and @BalesBets loved the vision and direction we're heading and wanted to be part of the next phase
We're thrilled to officially welcome them to the ownership team 🚀
We've sped up the image to betslip process with Native Share through the app - Take a screenshot of any betslip, article segment, Facebook post, text message, anything that could be an explicit or implicit bet and we will turn it into a deep linked slip for you in seconds. We've also made significant agentic improvements to the chat experience. Check it out!
Guys- if you download the @gambly app watch how easy it is to get a 🔗
Legit less than 30 seconds from start to finish.
1. Long press the picture (on mobile)
2. Tap Share to Gambly
3. Boom done that’s it.
@PK_Fund With a large position in long term cap gains I like selling small chunks as I want to buy/build things vs being married to a full stake target. I have an $ASTS funded barn with gym and golf sim and still riding the upside with the remaining.
Looking for a product marketing crusher to help grow @Gambly. Specifically:
- Product launch hype content
- Short-form video
- Social media
- Email marketing
- AI-focused SEO
Should be highly creative, self-directed, AI-native, and passionate about sports betting.
Not looking for someone corporate; you should move fast and figure out what works, helping to bring products to market, position them, and drive ongoing adoption.
If interested, shoot me a DM explaining why you'd be the person to hire. Strong preference to those with knowledge of Gambly and how we could improve.
Some thoughts after listening back to the $GAMB earnings call over coffee ☕
Sports Data Services (Optic + OddsJam + RotoWire) hit 28% of overall Q1 revenue, highest. yet. Within that, B2B was roughly half — mostly Optic. I understood Optic to be closer to 1/3 at the time of the OddsJam acquisition. Credit to @restivo and team for continuing to crush.
@kmccrystle casually dropped that Optic landed an integration with Perplexity. They already had the MCP integration in Claude. They are well positioned for the coming wave of vibe-coded sites and AI tools.
A few Optic stats highlighted:
• International partners ↑178% YoY
• Total active partners ↑28%
• 86% of customers are using the API (not just the Odds Screen)
At the end, someone asked if the company is considering a rebrand as it becomes more data-services focused. The question almost felt planted. @charlesgillespi said it’s under active consideration.
$GAMB is getting wrecked as a publicly traded affiliate but they’re sitting on a real gem in Optic Odds.
Traditional marketing/affiliate is in decline, but I see new affiliate opportunities opening up through deep-linked betslips originating from these B2B data integrations — especially in the form of “Payment for Betflow,” to borrow @DCat7 's term.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually rebrand to something like Optic Odds Group to tell this new story and try to rerate the stock
Anyway, I bought more on Friday. The bag is red and heavy.
Part of Gambly's origin story is a friend texting me to take some Tight End NFL draft bet and then me spending the next ten minutes trying to locate it on DK and FD. With Gambly you can just ask for any market with natural language.
Was proud to see our draft markets coverage on full display on ETR's stream. Thanks @adamlevitan!

It's official! Gambly and Unabated are one. Excited to build alongside some of the best in the business. Most importantly - we are hiring, especially AI-first engineers. Come join the rocketship. Thanks @jeffedelstein for the article. Look for a @BettingStartups pod dropping soon.
News: @gambly and @UnabatedSports are merging.
The two companies have shared equity and resources for 2+ years, now are forming Gambly Ventures, Inc., with @CalSpears as CEO, @snydercoder as CTO, and @BalesBets as chief strategy officer.
End of an era. Hit some golf balls with Dan at the sim tonight and feeling nostalgic.
Cam, Riley, and I were very fortunate that he reached out to us in the early days about starting an RG podcast. From there he rocked GrindersLive. We offered an equity boost if he could get us on Sirius Fantasy Sports Radio, which he did. He became an essential manager, talent, and ambassador of the company and DFS industry. He was the only choice to lead RG after Cam and I stepped away.
Sad to see him go but glad to have him as a friend here in Nashville. No doubt he'll be just as pivotal in whatever he does next.
