🚨| According to a reliable insider, Tate McRae is in the final stages of creating her fourth studio album. Since the release of her deluxe album SO CLOSE TO WHAT???, she has reportedly been in the studio working with producers and songwriters including Ryan Tedder, Emile Haynie, and Grant Boutin.
She is expected to begin teasing the new era across social media in June 2026, with a lead single currently anticipated for release in July 2026. The album is rumored to feature “vibrant, elevated, mature pop songs with strong hooks and melodies,” while also incorporating elements of folk and more personal, introspective songwriting.
Sources say her team is extremely confident in the project and is prepared to support the era with a “no limits” budget.
Ryan Tedder reveals Tate McRae has full control over how to launch the new era and says he’s excited about her new music:
“The music is phenomenal. Just the first handful sessions we did, she walked in and she snapped. She’s on another level of writing and inspiration. I’ll just say that I’m extremely excited […] I truly think she could be the biggest artist in the world.” #TM4
