Just had one of the most rewarding experiences of my academic career. I went to a high school and gave a lecture about how I got into science and the research I am undertaking. The students were engaging and asking lots of advice and questions, a really humbling experience!
Tonight (22/4) I will be on Japanese TV! I got stopped at the airport for a show about why I can to Japan, luckily it was coming back from field work so I was able to show them some samples and talk about the research I’m undertaking at JAMSTEC!
