David Gaider, the original creator and former lead writer of the Dragon Age series, says he will never play Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Speaking to PC Gamer, Gaider said he has already heard enough about the game and knows it would be too painful to play because he would be “wincing the whole time.”

He also blamed EA for how the game was developed, saying:

“EA really did a number on them in terms of setting them up to fail.”
