@zacobson 1) The entire 60s Packers
2a) Favre
2b) Rodgers
2c) Giannis
3) What Braun and Fielder would have been if the Brewers had pitching from 07-11
4) Yount
5) Kareem/Big O/Reggie White/Paul Molitor/Henry Aaron/Warren Spahn/Eddie Matthews/Charles Woodson
6) Yelich
@deadendcyber This is a core woman thesis: “Other people are saying something is socially unacceptable. Therefore, regardless of whether it makes sense, I am going to make major decisions based on that anecdotal bit of information.”
@LaptopProle91 Wealthy boomers/gen xers are also notorious for never saying no to their daughters because in their mind’s eye a daughter is just a version of their wife that will love them unconditionally the more they spoil them.
@obversers When you peel back the layers of this dynamic, almost all of it comes back to sex becoming a hobby for humans as a result of birth control. We’re the only species on earth content to stop ourselves from reproducing.
@wesmatthewsfan Braun’s first six years in the MLB were among the best ever by any player including Trout, Bonds, Pujols, etc. I don’t think Yelich is comparable to Braun at all unless you bring PEDs into the argument.
@Biancaaa_23 You are a depreciating asset if you’re not keeping your options open and “updating your resume” as one might say. Unfortunately that’s how the world works. Men who stay ahead of the curve will in most cases… be ahead of the curve.
@frencopter@Brien_Jackson Most middle class (or whatever’s left of it) families of the future are going to involve like four people on average. That’s going to set the isolationist issue into motion on its own without help.
@dialgatime321 You can certainly self-sabotage your way out of advantages. The issue is the threshold was pretty reasonable to overcome for most men at a disadvantage. That was the promise of America until like right now.
@nozomilover373 They were boomers/gen xers of course they weren’t going to know anything. They either found their way into money and/or were captain of the football team or they were something else. If your father was “something else” the difficulty is going to be much higher for you.
@dialgatime321 …so you can stay out of the goyim jobs. I would argue many fathers would love to teach their sons to be men. They don’t know how because there isn’t an avenue to do that besides maybe having them begin studying for the CPA exam and take up powerlifting at 13.
@dialgatime321 MAN for all of human history meant protector and provider. Until five minutes ago things were set up really well for that to be the case for most everyone. Now most anything your dad “teaches” you is worthless. He either gives you good genetics or he’s high up at a company…
@dmoonlives The worst part of it is being stuck a hair below 7. In some seasons of life you turn heads and in others you don’t and it’s often really hard to predict when the seasons will change.
