I thought the camera switches didn’t bother me much. I absolutely bothered me now. Tomo’s resilience is still ridiculous to see, he’s playing everything. Montpellier seems to have given him a more favorable draw too.

Bit of rambling for the Asian championships. Kinda weird that’s it’s still only best of 5 and not best of 7 like the European and Americas, but I guess they don’t want to burn out their athletes or something for once. But if that were the case, Montpelier wouldn’t be so soon.

Li Tianyang vs Tomokazu Harimoto
Did Tomo take LJK’s comeback abilities or something? Twice this tournament I’m pretty sure. Maybe the nerves caught up to Li. Who knows. Li did switch to be aggressive, but I’m sure Tomo is more comfortable there. He just needs more experience.

What on earth happened in the Americas Championship. Didn’t watch much (I am NOT going through those streams), but Kanak Jha lost? His opponent does seem good, played WRB close at one point. Also, Hugo is smurfing. Hasn’t dropped a game (albeit had close ones)

Random tt update but the Asian Championships have been interesting. Can’t keep up on a match basis tho, only watched bits. Li Tianyang in the semis is crazy, more choppers in the mix too. No LYJ, WCQ, LSD (doubles and teams tho), and Sora withdraw creates a very unique landscape.
