You know, it's amazing how many people live in America but don't understand the simple understanding net worth isn't cash in bank. Jesus had someone else carrying his money. That's what proper rich people do. They might have a net worth. But the good rich people might have a few thousand on hand or sitting in a bank. Because they reinvest majority of their money. Research says it wasn't a large operation, they never scaled... which basically means your read on this is wrong. They apparently were put into hobby levels of profit, which means not profitable for years. They basically voluntarily closed the business. It happens. Maybe Trump's tariffs sped up the process, but them not scaling is what shut them down at the end of the day.

I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to pay your servers a living wage. The owners don't get paid 2.13 an hour, so what's the issue? If the owner has an issue maybe they should lower their wages, learn to be a an actual business owner instead of reaping the benefits of basically being a glorified host/hostess at their one and only restaurant. 🤷🏽‍♂️
