Dear Cleveland Media. It’s ok to say that Shedeur Sanders has been the most consistent QB this camp. It’s ok to say that he’s still growing but has a great upside. For every compliment there’s some b.s. to undermine the fact that this guy has worked his butt off to be here!

@danorlovsky7 There’s never any context with you guys. First 15 script half. 1st team receivers + line. Short throws. 2nd quarter when backups came in it was a struggle. I like DW but this competition hasn’t been equal since it started. DW was behind then given a RZ day with 0 pads. 7 tds. 🤣

@LanceReisland @LanceReisland QB who will start this week will likely not have the same weapons “first team” and likely down a TE, WR, and my guess at least 2 different olinemen from 1st preseason game. It will take a Herculean effort against what would likely be more of a starting defense Sat.

@LanceReisland QB is struggling so you give him majority of RZ reps t o close the “gap”. Then, he’s given a half with script to mask downfield limitations with almost the entire first receiving core snd linemen. Now other QB starts with throw outside the hash and 0 gameplan.

@LanceReisland he then throws INT which you can’t have but makes the right read. In “fairness” he’s given chance to start on joint practice week where he’ll split reps with other competing QB. Does the script mask both QB flaws or attack them to see how they might fair in game?

@RuiterWrongFAN Let’s see if KC, Boston, and Fannin Jr. plays. My guess is Fannin is out and it’s highly likely that KC won’t play either. Let’s also see how the joint practice plays out. Downfield passing or quick game. Either way Shedeur needs a Herculean game on next Saturday with far less.

The fact is the Browns slanted the QB competition in DW favor. He was struggling then they gave him redzone and majority of reps to score 7 tds from 5 yards out in shorts lol then it became “close”. Now SS will likely not have the same starters for the 2nd game at home smh

@923TheFan @MaryKayCabot This is just nasty! Any chance they get to place Shedeur beneath someone they take it. I don’t know a competitor that wants to sit the bench. Shedeur is a baller that if he starts from the beginning you’ll have a better chance.

@TonyGrossi The fact of the matter is you guys started the “QB Tracker” as a way to highlight and justify Shedeur Sanders being a 5th round pick then minimized his numbers because he was going against the 3rd team. Now the coin is flipped and the QB Tracker is flawed smh
