@BusinessInsider https://t.co/pGcGLjwuHT Hi BI, my account was disabled shortly after I woke up to an email from Facebook noting unusual activity. There were multiple emails for 2-factor authentication. My account was disabled because the hacker apparently shared child porn!!

Also worth noting the scammers come out in full-force whenever someone tweets about a hacked/disabled Facebook account! There’s an immediate inflow of comments and DMs claiming they can recover my account. Unbelievable this is tolerated by Facebook!

@BusinessInsider please help! I fear my story is not unique. 2 factor authentication can be somehow disabled and then once you are hacked, Facebook auto-bans the account with no opportunity for recourse.

@Meta @facebookapp @oculus FACEBOOK TOLD ME I WAS HACKED, BANNED ME, so I appealed and after a month now my account is permanently disabled and there is no way to contact Facebook. #thisiswrong #wtf #hacked
