@troopzafc Who’s gonna tell him?

History. Tradition. Class.

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms Since 2020 Utd spent big on the likes of Sancho, Antony, ugarte, onana, mason mount, Donny VDB and more, with a net loss of 840 mill on transfers also being over 1 bill in debt, not in the champs for 3 years of that, yet could spend 120 mill net this summer… but yes that’s fair

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms If you can do it spending less than the big boys in less time then why should you long it out for “a process”, just lets the bigger clubs allow for failure for longer and longer

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms They should have been relegated yes but that’s not their fault. Equally the wages they paid didn’t out way wage bills of the likes of the red cartel. So do we introduce a wage cap similar to rugby instead

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

A house of cards one way or another is being brought down, at least one of City or the Prem is about to be DRAGGED

[City Xtra @City_Xtra]

Etihad Airways spokesperson: “Etihad categorically rejects any finding, conclusion or implication that suggests the airline has ever been involved in improper commercial arrangements. The Premier League’s public communication of the Commission’s findings, following a period of selective leaks and reporting, has further created damaging implications for Etihad despite the airline not being named in the redacted published findings.

“At no time did the Premier League reach out to or engage with Etihad in the process associated with the Commission’s opinion. Etihad was therefore never given opportunity by the Premier League to be represented, provide relevant information, or ensure the accuracy and fairness of information relied upon in reaching conclusions that may now be interpreted as reflecting adversely on the airline.

“Etihad is deeply concerned by the way this matter has been communicated publicly. The lack of clarity and transparency, together with the selective disclosure of information, has created damaging implications for Etihad despite the airline not being named in the published decision. The Premier League must take responsibility for the consequences of the way in which these findings have been presented.

“We stand with the Club, its supporters and our wider Etihad community as #ManCity challenges the Commission’s conclusions through the processes available to it. Etihad will seek the relevant legal counsel on the options and recourse available to protect its interests…” [via @MikeKeegan_DM]

@RicericeBabyii @NOTLFCJ__ Not that I mean to get to where they are, signing the likes of rogers from Borough, McGinn from Hibs etc. then they try to get players to get further but it doesn’t work out, see Leon Bailey, Danny ings etc, but they have to sell academy products and other players to try again

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms They did, but when a club like Villa hit Champions League football they should be allowed to do the same, not have to sell half the squad due to ffp

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@kylewelsh85 @Mike_RMCF Because otherwise they wouldn’t be within the stupid ffp rules

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@AbsolutelyJosh_ And yet which club is currently wallowing in more and more debt despite earning more as a “big club”, it’s not like they didn’t pay for their players etc, they used their own money, whether it be fan generated or owner generated

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@kylewelsh85 @Mike_RMCF the only reason they’ve had to go about it that way is because current rulings don’t allow clubs outside the red cartel or Chelsea (who also have dodgy books) to show ambition. United can be run with an untold amount of debt for example, Barcelona can pull “levers” as another

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms Still, a big club could sell that player for much less (see Antony at Utd) and then just go again on buying players, smaller clubs with a tighter belt on current ffp rules can’t do that

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms So when a big club signs someone for 90 million they’re crap, then go sign another 90 million player while letting the other players contract run down that’s okay? Lower table clubs can’t do that

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms He’s not the smartest no, but how do you suggest to allow clubs to spend to compete for the big trophies whilst for the fans sake making sure a club doesn’t end up like bury etc

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms I’d assume he’d mean if clubs went beyond what they earn, so say through club finances you can afford to buy a player for say 40 million then the owner doesn’t need to cough up the money, but if like city they wanted to spend beyond earnings to build they could

[Dan Evans @DanEvans83]

I own a company i want to sponsor fulhams kit. I agree a 50m a year deal. The league says i cant do that. I then agree a deal with man utd for 50m a year and the league says that's ok. That's the rules. Its shocking #premierleague

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms I can’t find the video but I have managed to find basically what his intended idea would be

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@lor_m31 Poch is a crying loser is why

[G_certified 🐝 @gcertifedd]

You couldn’t even beat Leicester in a title race. I’d sit this one out

[Cam @Cam_LCFC]

@imran_ah712 @afc_thms Exactly this
