Han pasado más de 36 horas sin saber nada de mi hijo. Estoy profundamente preocupada por su integridad y hago un llamado urgente por su liberación inmediata.
Carlos es un buen hijo. Carlos es inocente.

Wonderful time with @camatus’s Introduction to Civic Life class at @SNFAgora@JohnsHopkins. We spent some time talking about organizing and power before going on a tour with Re-Build Johnston Square to see what community-led development without displacement can make possible.

@BaltimoreBrew@Wade_Kach@CouncilmanIzzy@BaltCoExec I think it's important to make sure that our government officials are well paid to encourage good quality candidates and politicians to run for office. Making 100-150k doesn't seem excessive for being a public servant. But please let me know if I'm missing something & thank you.
@BaltimoreBrew@Wade_Kach@CouncilmanIzzy@BaltCoExec Thank you for writing this informative op-ed! I was looking for information about this amendment as I'm filling up my ballot. Genuine question: how is it greed to increase the salary from 100 to 130k? Their pensions/salaries are not that high. Am I missing something?

Contrary to conventional wisdom, this article explains why the answer is no, and reviews three new books demonstrating that few characteristics universally confer advantage or disadvantage to populations seeking nonviolent political change. 2/2
