economy of scale is u shape where after reaching at lowest cost point, it start going upward. however those u are not stand alone and there is one more bigger u under that u so if management is efficient, it shifted to next bigger U and lower per unit cost and higher profit

i do not understand why bitcoin is not pyramid scheme. pyramid scheme means underlaying business has no income and it funded through new people joining it
I watched Pyramid Scheme on Prime last weekend. It brought back a lot of memories of what it feels like to be stuck in one when the scheme goes bust.
When I started my career at ~18, I was trying to find ways to fund my trading account. For about two years, I got drawn into a multilevel marketing company that turned out to be a pyramid scheme. I don't think I was deceived by the person who introduced me, but by the company itself. Partly because I ended up introducing a lot of people to it too.
The scene in the series showing the moment the fraud unravelled was surreal to watch. The director has captured the desperation of that moment remarkably well.
I thought this was something that only happened in the early 2000s. I didn't realise that even today, 2 new pyramid schemes launch every day in India. Over 5.5 crore Indians have lost their savings to more than 5,300 such schemes, estimated losses of Rs 10 lakh crore as of 2015, likely far higher now.
One truth my experience has taught me: there is no quick way to make a lot of money, be it trading or any other business. Anything promising returns higher than a bank FD comes with risk. The higher the claim, the greater the risk.
This dynamic has also played a big part in the recent growth of retail markets, people spreading the word that it's easy to make money in stocks. It isn't, and the reckoning tends to come quietly, one account at a time.
And if someone tells you that you can make easy money just by introducing others, run. Almost every single one of those is a fraud.
they can have given power to centre incharge to allow genuine case for late entry. logic for banning late entry is they find paper somehow-read solved paper, memorise it and so coming late to exam centre however it need extraordinary memory and speed which is impossible
Absolutely correct. Of course we all know that rules should be respected etc
But I have been shocked by some of the sneering, heartless responses here. Are we becoming a middle class without compassion or a recognition of how tough life can be for India’s poor & disadvantaged?
try alternative option to get it repaired. either you will not get repair person and if you get most probably either you will buy new ac or repair person take your ac to their shop to find minor punchur and if can not find punchur then become gambler to refill paid gas again.
Urban Company SCAMMED me. 20 days. 5 professionals. Still Ac not cooling. Each visit, a new diagnosis. Each diagnosis, a new charge.
Dust → Gas → Servicing → Gas again
When I called them out publicly?
Their team adviced : Delete the post. Promised to fix it. Then ghosted my 10 calls.
Urban Company sold me technology over trust.
Don’t book them. They will fraud you with a new problem every visit until you give up.
RT so nobody else wastes their money.
Government should launch a one time scheme: Every Indian can sell up to 100 grams of gold completely tax free.
No capital gains tax, Not compulsory & purely voluntary like Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Watch the magic:
• Massive gold monetization
• Huge liquidity enters the economy
• Higher consumption and investments
• More money into equities and businesses.
• Lower dependence on imported gold
India is sitting on thousands of tonnes of idle household gold. @narendramodi
along with amazon, other thousands of company ipo come who where in same category of business so out of those thousands of company only 1 or 2 successed so i think company shall be bought based on performance and not based on dream vision.
An analysis correlating a person's height and English fluency with their annual salary would likely yield a very high correlation coefficient. Yet for individuals in business, that correlation tends to break down. This contrast could be a worthwhile topic for PhD research
Ridham Desai is a senior leader in a big firm. I am sure he has a high paying job and his Bonus component would be hefty too. His articulation is really good, English vocabulary is leagues ahead of many non-Elite-school average Indians like us.
But none of this gives him the right to throw random numbers at people. I made a collage of his/MS’s earlier predictions. How can you keep making such random claims and yet, get away?
How does Morgan Stanley allow this to happen?
after receiving 2-3 calls everyday from @IDFCFIRSTBank i have decided that i will advise all my client to not open bank account in IDFC bank. they are worse than bajaj guys.
5 acres of prime public land in the heart of BKC — worth thousands of crores — has effectively been converted into a private retreat for MMRDA officers and their families.
The so-called “City Park”, developed using taxpayers’ money as a green lung for the people of Bandra East and surrounding areas, is today shut to the very citizens who paid for it.
I personally visited the park today and was shocked to see that public access is restricted through the ‘Jetwan’ staff quarters of MMRDA. While the common Mumbaikar struggles to find open spaces to walk, exercise or let their children play, a select group of bureaucrats is enjoying exclusive access to sprawling gardens, state-of-the-art tennis courts and cricket turfs — all maintained using public funds.
To make matters worse, MMRDA recently even hosted exclusive sports events for officers inside this restricted park.
This is not governance. This is entitlement.
Mumbai’s public spaces cannot become the private playgrounds of unelected Babus.
The MMRDA Commissioner must immediately explain:
• Under what authority has public access to this park been restricted?
• Why is taxpayers’ money being spent on maintaining facilities inaccessible to taxpayers themselves?
• Who took the decision to convert a public amenity into a closed officers’ enclave?
The people of Mumbai deserve answers. Public land belongs to the public — not to a privileged few sitting in government quarters.
gold is biggest myth. in past It was used as beautification but gradually it start being used as value replacement. it give undue benefit to country having gold deposit. indian are wasting our national resource for this unproductive asset accumulation for no apperant benefit
I visited 5 to 6 jewellery retailers today. Every single one said the same thing that there are zero walk in customers, and by zero, they literally mean zero.
When the PM asked people to avoid buying gold, I honestly didn’t expect demand to freeze like this. But this is real and happening on the ground.
Adhik Maas is also adding to the slowdown, but the sentiment shift is clearly visible.
Remember that India is a country where people buy gold even during recessions.
