This Tippett Studio shutdown pizzazz is genuinely upsetting. I can't believe the works of Phil Tippett of all people are being sold off. This guy paved a new era for animation. If it weren't for his efforts on Jurassic Park, digital animation would not have gotten this far.

This is a catastrophe for stop-motion animation connoisseurs and people who genuinely care about art history. These works shouldn't be auctioned off, they should be preserved in a museum. We are losing respect for artisanship, Phil Tippett is truly a master.
