Valuable experience? One of those navies no longer exists, another has lost a naval war to a country without a navy. And the third only has experience in ramming it's own ships into each other.
Let's be real, the SA Navy is in the worst state it's ever been, and exercising with autocrats isn't going to save it. Get your shit together
How do you explain to a non-South Africa that there were ostriches being transported in ambulances and that it is connected to bricks of cocaine and the police force.
@ravinaidoo@TableMountainCa It’s the cableway charity challenge today, take a look online as it’s funding multiple great causes in Cape Town. Where athletes race each other up and down the mountain to raise money for charity.

I was onsite this morning! All the water drained long before 24hrs passed, and our teams were on site clearing the mud.

💰💥R2.1 BILLION MISSING!
The Department of Defence (@SANDF_ZA) cannot account for R2.1 billion it received from Treasury — money meant to support our soldiers deployed in the DRC.
Despite R813 million specifically allocated for troop allowances, brave SANDF members and their families say they’re still owed up to R600,000 each. Meanwhile, soldiers continue risking their lives in foreign missions without fair compensation.
Even worse, Defence officials gave conflicting and evasive answers in Parliament, and the Minister of Defence Angie Motshekga (ANC) admitted knowing nothing about key troop allowances. Yet, they insist on funding luxury VVIP jets and the President’s Boeing BBJ fleet with R415 million.
The DA is demanding:
✅ Proof of where every cent of the R813 million went.
✅ An explanation for unpaid allowances.
✅ Accountability for the entire R2.1 billion allocation.
✅ A plan to ensure this never happens again.
South Africa’s soldiers deserve respect, not betrayal. We will keep fighting until they get the truth — and their rightful pay.
