We're moving into shorter summer vacation hours from Friday 10th June. We advise you to check our website for our opening hours this summer before you visit, as there will be dates we will be closed due to unavailability of library staff. See: https://t.co/4JNs8jak9w
On this special Platinum Jubilee bank holiday, we are celebrating Jane, our Library and Information Assistant, who has been Queen of the Geography Library for almost 20 years. Long may she reign 👸📚👑
We're open this Jubilee Thursday and Friday 9am-4pm, so you're most welcome to celebrate with us - we offer some peace and quiet, plenty of books, and a friendly librarian during exam season.
The Queen (and a loyal pet corgi) are presiding over our Jubilee tea party in the Geography Library this afternoon! We have home made treats and magnificent cakes fit for royalty! 🇬🇧👑🍰🍩
The throne is ready and awaiting a royal arrival. The Geography Library is hosting a Jubilee tea at 3pm today, with a ROYAL TREASURE of goodies. Do pop in if you're in the neighbourhood! 👑🇬🇧
We're aware that exams have now started, so we wanted to wish all the very best of luck to our students! Remember we're here to support you, even just as study space, and we're open all week including the Jubilee Bank Holidays on Thursday and Friday this week.
In one week's time, we're celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with tea and a very special Royal visit to our library. If you're in Geography on Wednesday 1st June, please do pop in (you may wish to curtsy) 🇬🇧👑☕️🍰
