@plumeplotter@stoptheburnUK Some people still think it's just steam coming out of incinerator chimneys...

The scam of 'net zero by 2050' demonstrated again:
1) Bristol airport gets the go ahead for expansion.
2) Govt approves development of Abigail Oil field in the N.Sea.
Just turn up the 'Negative emission' dial & all is rosy - i.e. we pass our mitigation burden on to our children.

@greenarteries Which is why it’s madness to build incinerators in Fenland - contaminating crops, animals and forcing food processing out of the area.@wiswinorguk They will be some of largest in Europe, importing hundreds of lorry loads of waste a day. Needs stopping.
Revealed: Three British water companies pay NO tax.
@neilcraven1
'What we have with these companies is smoke and mirrors. They have made off with £72billion and we've ended up with rivers full of sewage. They are out of control.'

New term introduced here: to "dewater" a region, as in "developers' business model dewaters the area it builds on". But they forget to mention if you dewater an area you de-species it too - and ultimately that will include humans #ecocide https://t.co/8izbugxcUM

If, as @SouthCambs says, it has an adequate 5-year land supply for housing, why is the council still granting planning permissions in the open countryside outside village boundaries?

Just left a meeting about proposed incinerators in Wisbech and Woodhurst. So: largest incinerator in Europe proposed which will have c360 deliveries by lorry daily, whose waste can be stored for 11 days. Food processing factories and chicken farms will have to close. @wiswinorguk
Will affect agricultural land and people’s health. This is what’s being proposed for agricultural land in an area that produces double the average food in the country. @PANUKPFC@cam_friends
On Inequality, mental health, art and nature:
“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river.
We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”
