Biden's economy (2021-2025) achieved 11% GDP growth, unemployment below 4% for record periods, and inflation tamed from 9%+ to 2.4%, with strong job creation—hardly a disaster. Trump's (2025) shows Q2 GDP at 3%, but overall H1 growth at 1.2%, unemployment at 4.2%, stalled jobs, and tariffs reducing GDP by 0.9% while adding $1,300/household tax—not booming. Facts suggest the reverse.
@Momma3wife@dcpetterson A lot of employers will keep people on a schedule at just under 30 hours per week - which mean they do not have to provide benefits. I know several young, able-bodied people who work 28-29 hours a week and rely on Medicare.
@dolphinsands .@dolphinsands As the mother of a young adult in recovery I have a favor to ask. Please stop using the word, "junkie." And please do not use any aspect of addiction as a pejorative. Recovery is hard work.
That said, F*CK RFK Jr.
Congrats @RichardvReeves for Of Boys and Men being named an Economist book of the year! Thanks for trusting me and the press with the book.

@benjancewicz That article is from 2015. Finding Your Roots still airs (apparently after establishing governance rules and roles). https://t.co/OT9iYNmC8N
@InternetD0G And for some, *she was* Baltimore's more profitable former resident...
And I can't think of another Baltimorean who made so much money for others. https://t.co/7TaqlGZusf
