Rumours of our death have been greatly exaggerated :)
After keeping a low profile for some time, we're finally ready to announce what many of you had already guessed: we are working on the next Expeditions game!

As a result of winning Game of the Year at the Danish game awards, Expeditions: Rome was also nominated for the Nordic Game Awards in Malmö. The competition looks strong, but here's hoping for another victory!

Expeditions: Rome won Best Game Design and Game of the Year at the Danish game awards and our creative director Jonas Wæver was on-stage to collect. Big congrats to him and the seven other members of Campfire Cabal who worked on Expeditions: Rome!
7- In other words, as far as Expedition: Rome’s combat scenarios are concerned, the fact that archers can always hit their target is technically not unrealistic. It’s just that we’re used to the D&D was of calculating these things.
1- You may have noticed that there are no to-hit rolls in Expeditions: Rome. Every single attack lands 100% of the time. The random factor comes from defense. That means even ranged attacks always hit; and yes when it comes to video games this is quite unusual.
6- At longer ranges said archer would still be able to hit a human sized target but hitting a lethal area on the body gets progressively harder. That is why in Expeditions: Rome damage starts dropping off after a certain distance.
11- Today Halikarnassos is known as Bodrum. The modern town takes its name from the Hospitaller Castle of St. Peter. (Petronium). It is a famous holiday town and is home to several historical sites including the tomb of King Mausolos. Literally the original Mausoleum.
1- Voiced by the incomparable Stephane Cornicard, @StephaneCornic Syneros is one of the most popular and beloved characters in Expeditions: Rome. And he has a rather unique background.
10 - And yes, I know… This means Syneros’ story was rather anachronistic. But the whole thing was too awesome to not include in our game. Don’t you agree?
