Great experience at Virginia Tech Specialist Camp with @CoachDShearer and @CoachWood88. Only non-senior in the top 10 of the last man standing field goal competition. Thankful for the coaching and feedback. Looking forward to building upon it. @DanOrnerKicking@BennettSwygert@tcook_ohseven
Looking forward to my Sophomore camp season. Grateful for opportunities to learn from great coaches, compete against talented athletes, and continue developing as a kicker/punter. Season loading for @Clover_Football 🦅

Missing kicks is part of the game. But how you miss matters.
Did the ball barely slide outside the upright? Or was it a complete shank left?
Because there’s a difference. One is a confident miss and one is usually a breakdown somewhere in the process. A confident miss tells you you’re close.
The quicker you can coach yourself after the miss, the higher level of ball you’ll be able to play.
Does it take you five kicks to make the adjustment, or can you fix it after one?
The best specialists aren’t perfect. They just make corrections faster than everybody else. They understand what happened, trust their training, and move on without letting one miss turn into three.
A lot of athletes panic after a miss and start changing everything. That’s where things snowball. High level guys can separate emotion from correction. Small adjustment. Full commitment. Next ball.
That’s a huge part of becoming consistent.
