This is great news… and I want to explain something to anyone who thinks that this should not have happened.

Jared Stillman is not a journalist.

There have been popular media outlets who watched the interaction between Cam Ward and Jared Stillman last week and thought that Cam Ward reacted very poorly. Some shows such as “Nightcap” hosted by Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco, had very real conversations and debates about Cam Ward’s character when reality here is that Jared Stillman is a hack and feeds on negativity to get clicks and is an enemy to everyone in the locker room because his success depends on negativity thriving.

I think this decision was made because it did some public damage to Cam Wards character that was definitely not warranted because the context was deeply misunderstood. I followed the decision by the Titans because Jared Stillman was dangerous to the players who are forced to stand at that podium and answer questions.
