CMN provides training and coaching for collegiate ministry leaders who desire to accelerate evangelistic momentum, multiply disciples and plant new ministries.
Such an honor to be on the @ReplicateMin podcast talking about disciple-making and the often missing ingredient of personal evangelism. 🙏 @Rgallaty

George Whitefield was once approached by a pastor who opposed his ministry that told him…
“I am sorry to see you here.”
Whitefield replied, “So is the devil.” 😤
Having a disagreement, even an important disagreement among brothers and sisters in Christ does not call for mocking, demonizing and canceling.
I fear for the pastors that model this to their congregations because ultimately the people will learn to do the same to them and one another and cause untold damage to the church.
I am not saying don’t discuss issues and even have lively, candid and public debate but I wonder if we lost some of the unity previous generations once had?
Leaders like my friend George Verwer who led Operation Mobilization talked all the time about having a “grace awakened” perspective towards other believers. He even wrote a book calls “Messiology” about how messy missions can be. Thank God that He uses imperfect people!
Churches, networks and denominations can and should have doctrinal distinctions but when believers start slandering one another something is very off…
I am not the kind of person who believes there is a demon behind every bush but probably every tree.
Most believers vastly underestimate spiritual warfare. Don’t be naive. (1 Peter 5:8)
It’s usually not overt. Satan is more crafty than that.
He is accusing believers night and day (Rev 12:10) and we must put on the full armor of God daily (Eph 6)
If you aren’t experiencing some level of spiritual warfare as believer I wonder if you are really a threat…
Don’t be surprised when all hell breaks loose as we advance against the gates of hell!
“Had a very deep sense of the vanity of the world most of the day. Through divine goodness, I felt very serious and solemn. Oh, I love to live on the brink of eternity… I cared not where or how I lived, or what hardships I went through, so that I could but gain souls to Christ. I longed to spend and be spent for God. Let me forget the world and be swallowed up in the desire to glorify God… Oh, that I might not loiter on my heavenly journey!” David Brainerd
NEW RESOURCE 🙌 🙏💯 Check out this new book edited by @shane_pruitt78 and @DrBWorthington with contributions by multiple leaders. I wrote a chapter on reaching college students and our @NAMBEvangelism team wrote chapters including Tim Dowdy @JJWashington41@CatherineRenfro This would be a great resource to read and discuss with your staff or for use in a seminary setting. Praying that God uses it to encourage and equip many! 🙏🙏🙏 https://t.co/rlJnn3eO9n

“Let us not glide through this world and then slip quietly into heaven, without having blown the trumpet loud and long for our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Let us see to it that the devil will hold a thanksgiving service in hell, when he gets the news of our departure from the field of battle.” C.T. Studd https://t.co/2s7XjA4h4Z
“Max Barnett was one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. God led him to oversee the Baptist student work at the University of Oklahoma for decades, but it was merely a launching pad to change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and ministries around the world. He arguably started more student ministries on major college universities than any man living.” @belliff https://t.co/4XQL8WIYND
“For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8
Max Barnett went home to be with Jesus tonight and I can only imagine the celebration and welcome he came home to! (see last slide.) Only eternity will tell the scope of the impact of his life and ministry but I know thousands of people have been transformed through the spiritual multiplication of one faithful man of God. I know my life will never be the same from knowing him! 😭🙌
I am so glad @gary_stidham and I got to interview him and get his last words of advice to leaders on the @campusmultiplication podcast. https://t.co/SRFHQlkpRb
I also wrote an article on my substack with lessons learned from him. https://t.co/2s7XjA4h4Z
May we all be faithful to pass on his legacy and finish the race and complete the task! 😤💯🙏

PRAYER REQUEST 🙏🙏🙏
This week is Collegiate Round Up Conference sponsored by @sbtccollegiate led by my friend @_drewhumphrey_ and an epic team of church based college ministry leaders! This is one of my favorite events each year connecting with so many like hearted collegiate leaders. I will be giving a main session talk tomorrow night on a topic that has been burning deeply in my heart and giving two workshops the next day. @shane_pruitt78 will be there speaking also so our GenSend team will be rolling deep 😎 Please pray for supernatural anointing for myself and all the speakers and that God uses the time together to encourage, equip and empower every leader in attendance! That the name of Jesus is lifted high on every campus in Texas and beyond. 🙏🙏🙏
Just shared the gospel with a guy named Edgar who told me he went to church sometimes to “work on getting saved.” Got to share that salvation is a free gift (Romans 6:23) and give him a gospel booklet. He recently had a friend pass away so he has been thinking about eternity. Please pray for him! 🙏🙏🙏 https://t.co/pzmfk0Ajeh
“If you have men who will only come if they know there is a good road, I don’t want them. I want men who will come if there is no road at all.” David Livingstone
So grateful for these Christian Challenge collegiate leaders who engage with thousands of students across Colorado every year! They face many challenges and serve in a variety of unique contexts. I truly believe that God met us in a powerful way as we discussed the 4 Practices of A Movement Leader! Modeling ➡️ Equipping ➡️ Empowering ➡️ Encouraging 💯
Please continue praying for these leaders who have a passion to multiply disciples. May God truly bring revival on every campus! 🔥🔥🔥 🙏🙏🙏
