NEW: Alberta is replacing its driver’s licences and provincial ID cards with a redesigned three-in-one card beginning July 2, 2026.
The updated cards can carry a person’s Personal Health Number on the back, ending the long-standing reliance on paper health cards, and will display a Canadian citizenship marker for eligible residents. Albertans must bring their existing health card to add the PHN and show proof of legal status for the citizenship designation, though neither is mandatory.
The new design replaces the dinosaur fossil on Alberta IDs since 2018 with an oil pumpjack, the provincial wild rose, and the words “Alberta Strong and Free” on the back. The card has 54 security features, and the province says linking health numbers to photo ID will reduce fraud. Card fees are unchanged.
🚨 CANADA: 11 YEARS APART

Same country. Different results.
The numbers don’t lie.
Liberal rule under Trudeau and now Carney has been an absolute disaster.
Liberal Tears 😭 in 3...2...1.. 🤣

Poilievre blasts Carney for plunging Canada into a recession despite other peer countries faring much better.
"Why is it that only Canada, after a year of Mark Carney, is in a recession today?"
Much of Alberta is on alert as a slow-moving storm system delivers what could amount to a full month of rainfall over the coming days.
Environment Canada has issued a yellow rainfall warning for Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park, with 50 to 100 mm forecast through Wednesday morning and localised totals possibly exceeding 100 mm.
In the Rockies, flood watches are in effect for the Bow River and Pipestone River near Lake Louise, with the Town of Banff setting up temporary flood barriers along low-lying areas. Canmore has flagged rising water levels on the Bow River, and emergency officials in Calgary and Lethbridge are keeping close watch as river levels build downstream.
The combination of above-average snowpack in Banff, Jasper and Kananaskis with sustained heavy rainfall is raising flood concerns across central and southern Alberta, with some areas potentially seeing up to 150 mm before conditions ease.
ATTENTION ALBERTA INDEPENDENCE SUPPORTERS.
Please pay attention. Make a mental list of everyone claiming that they support independence who seem grateful to @ABDanielleSmith giving us “a process” that will push a real vote on #AlbertaIndependence into 2028.
They have just identified themselves as people to distrust and avoid.
🚨 BREAKING NEWS
Albertans for Independece to @ABDanielleSmith :
“That was the most corrupt and despicable manoeuvre by any Alberta Premier in our lifetimes.
Danielle Smith stabbed 708,000 Albertans who wanted a binary yes/no vote on independence in the back.
Albertans will not tolerate you crossing the floor to the Carney Liberals.
Either resign or spend the next six months being taught the same lesson that was taught to Jason Kenney.”
🚨 BREAKING: Alberta’s independence referendum question has been released.
“Should Alberta remain a province of Canada or should the Government of Alberta commence the legal process required under the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding provincial referendum on whether or not Alberta should separate from Canada?”
Many wanted a direct vote on independence. Instead, the question asks whether Alberta should begin the legal process required to hold a binding referendum on separation.
@RiseOfAlberta They just finished the process to get the Referendum: it was the collection of a more than adequate number of signatures. If this wasn't the objective, why did they tell them to do it? Just to make them stand out in the cold and snow at minus 30?
This isn't an independence questions it's a question to ASK the question IN THE FUTURE. maybe years from now.
By then the 1 million non voting eligible will be able to vote by citizenship and Ottawa will continue to fast track the third world with full citizenships to Alberta and we''ll no longer be 50% of the voter base, i'm not retarded, I know the game plan here. It's painfully obvious, we've been getting 2x the immigrants as any ot her province, Quebec has 2x our population and only 500k non voting eligible adults.
We're getting bent over and fucked raw dog here with a sprinking of carbon taxes on top of it with a bunch of Carney praise.
If you think this is a win, it's literally over. We'll never be free.
I wish I was surprised.
This is not the Danielle we all supported when she took leadership.
This is a politician that is bullsh*tting us with the same tactics that Kenney provided, as we get weaker for it.
If we follow her script, the Alberta of today will no longer exist by the time an actual vote for independence occurs…
We are all getting played here.

Starting September 1, 2026, Alberta schools will only be permitted to display the Canadian and Alberta flags under proposed provincial legislation, prohibiting Pride flags and all other non-governmental flags from school buildings and grounds.
🇬🇧🇺🇸 Tommy Robinson put up a slideshow of world leaders at today's Unite the Kingdom rally in London.
EU leaders, boos.
Then Trump's face appeared. Thousands of British people started chanting "USA! USA!"
In the middle of London. Today.
Then Robinson dropped something nobody expected.
He told the crowd this rally only happened because of one man: Andy Miller. An American. From Nashville, Tennessee.
Robinson visited him during his U.S. tour. Miller funded it.
A British nationalist movement. Bankrolled from Tennessee.
This is the transatlantic alliance being built in real time
No screaming. No fires. No broken glass. No threats, or machetes, or chants of “Allahu Akbar.”
Just well-mannered, civilized Brits working to save their country from barbarism.
Sad to hear of Mark Friesen's passing. Rest easy my friend. You inspired many Canadians in your walk of truth and love. You won’t be forgotten.
Thoughts and prayers for Mark’s wife Jannecke Nielsen Friesen, family and friends.
It's VERY IMPORTANT to pay ATTENTION to WORDING!
He specifically stated "ALL OF MY MINISTERS."
"HIS MINISTERS" are NOT limited to the UK, which it appears some of you have forgotten. "HIS MINISTERS" are also Canadian, Australian, NZ etc. any country that is under Monarchy rule wherein politicians swear an oath to the crown.
The basic oath for MP's is in the screenshot on the right and the King's Privy Council Oaths are on this page, along with a searchable index for membership and date they were sworn in. https://t.co/xpsUSt452F
