Here we are at the protest against PDO & the Western Link at the full council meeting on 26th February! Raising awareness about loss of green space #keepWarringTOWN#dropdeadifuwannastaygreen 🐥 https://t.co/QLknY5t4BV
Hurrah! New roads are always the answer to congestion! Sorry, my mistake, that should be *never ... new roads are NEVER the answer to congestion. But sod #AirPollution & #ClimateBreakdown, eh? Ignore all the alternatives and all the evidence.
Serious mess, serious solution. Any planning application - for a road, housing, change of land use, whatever - should have to prove there would be no negative effect on the natural environment, wildlife, air pollution or climate change, BEFORE it gets in front of a committee.
Town Hall Capers... of course the Full Council passed the Local Plan jnti the next stage ... they did as they were told -SHAME!!! Green Crimes!
still- we made some noise at em!
Thanks to the community for coming out in numbers to give their input on future Willy Wroe. Not able to attend then do the on line survey here https://t.co/9w8LlhRshb
.@NorthHertsDC @BimAfolami are we to fear 2,468 deaths per annum or 7 people a day dying from poor Air Quality in North Herts? Is the Governments #housinghysteria and New Homes Bonus bribe to Local Authorities, likely to lead to this increasing death toll?
Pick up a copy of today's @warringtonnews to read my special Local Plan report as @WarringtonBC sets out its controversial 20-year vision for town - with more than 7,000 homes earmarked for green belt land. @CllrRussBowden @CllrBobBarr @OneWarrington@CanariesonTour@settlegfs
If you want to stop the Governments hysteria over housing demand you need to question the maths. Housing numbers are being overstated by Local Authorities to generate New Homes Bonus income and lack of brownfield sites are the excuse to overturn Green Belt. PLEASE RT
#Basildon objects to #Southend overdevelopment plans - The #A127 is busier than some motorways with enormous traffic growth (from 70k to 100k each way per day) in next 15 years
Basildon Council to call on Southend to consider how A127 will cope https://t.co/JrTGcAVdyP
“ We shall fight them on the bridges.....”
little bit of rain wont stop us... we got multifunctional placards... but just look at all that rust!
csnt stop us ...“ changing the guard... ”so ner... we love our swing bridges thanks to all the drivers who honked at us -never give in!
Find it hard to believe the housing needs figures haven’t been challenged by anyone in charge in Greater Manchester prior to latest public consulatation. Is it because they are actually happy with the levels in the @GMSpatialFrame and see greenbelt loss as collateral damage?
