I saw a load of folks defending Bao, and wasn't sure if I should tweet this but I kinda genuinly feel the VTuber community is so brainwashed and clout starved that it's gross Our video from earlier today: https://t.co/2lbDFIqOdH I kind of had to work up the courage to tweet this because I've tried to always be respectful in my videos, but Bao had loads of folks looking at the most surface level comments defending her blindly, and I think it's entirely what's wrong with the VTuber world. Thankfully more people have brains and standards than a year ago. This woman has had view bots on her channel, people calling her out for fake twitter engagement, claimed Sykkuno was a child predator/pedo, went live at 2 am to "address" it and tried to shove everything under the rug, minimize responsibility, never clarified/etc Was caught in mulitple smeer campaigns against streamers, tried to cancel her "friend" sinder, her community harasssed a child being groomed and people trying to defend them, and blamed Sinder somehow too after multiple people called out her and her fans disgusting behaviors She also collueded with mujin seemingly multiple times to try and ruin people they dislike, after this all happened used "mental health" to manipulate her audience that any of this was ok? To still never apologize or take accountability on literally anything? Also she lied blatantly and tried to blame her viral tweet on both Mizkif AND Sykkuno. Like this woman was caught lying, tried to minimize everything and so many VTubers were trying to say she was some beautiful queen who hasn't ever done anything wrong. Like she lied to people's faces. Never messaged the victims she was "trying" to help and tossed them aside after Bao knew the full situation. Like this person truly gave 0 fucks and completely ghosted the victims she created and faked cared about Maybe because I've covered this drama and not everyone has been in depth, but this is probably one of the worst streamers that's getting away with things because people just don't care know.... because SHE TRIED TO HIDE IT ALL. I literally do not care if someone does flesh posting, or 18+ content and don't like someone's looks being harassed but this woman is absolute scum. If she was a man she'd have been cancelled, let alone all the stuff people have told me privately about her, even past friends of hers that I don't want to share publically as it's not my place This women seemed to just be trying to cover up everything while the people who never knew all the disgusting things she's done at the most surface level were protecting her and once again those same people were trying to minimize the valid folks who were critiqueing her honestly While I do not think she should have her personal looks attacked and people went too far, this woman is genuinly a horrible person. If she was a man and not a VTuber she would have been properly kicked out years ago So rightfully so, many people were just disgusted by what she's done, her actions, and her as a person and people calling her out for just using the VTuber community seem absolutely right at this point and completely justified But for some reason vtubers would turn a blind eye for her, for some odd reason One of my biggest judgements of the vtubing world is you think someone famous means they do no wrong, even if it's the 50th time One of the fakest communities at times Should probably just not tweet this but whatever, I feel like I shouldn't be holding back my real thoughts on some of these things cause this didn't sit right with me all day anyway, good night ya'll
