Sis, a cleanse isn’t a reset.
It’s dehydration packaged as wellness.
If you want better digestion, more energy, and real fat loss, build habits you can sustain, not something that sends you running to the bathroom.
It’s not fat loss/weight loss you need...
It’s more muscle, sis!
More time in a build phase with ample calories, protein, and an effective training program!
So that the tone will be toning! 💪🏾
Someone needs to hear this today...
The fat loss phase will reveal the muscle you built in the build phase.
You can lose all the body fat you want, but you won’t look like you want if you don’t have the muscle up under the fat you keep trying to lose repeatedly.
- You’re recovering from a hard lift - inflammation for the workout - muscular inflammation
- You’re not sleeping enough
- You’re under a lot of stress
- Dehydrated - water retention
Just to name a few!
Here are some reasons why the scale fluctuates!
Fluctuations are NORMAL & inventible, sis …
- You’re about to start your period
- When’s the last time you took a 💩
- You are more carbs than normal
- You ate more sodium/salt than normal
Reminder:
The goal isn't to eat as little as possible to lose body fat.
The goal is to eat as MUCH as possible while still being in a consistent calorie deficit.
So that you bias losing body fat over pairing down your precious muscle.
IDK who needs to hear this:
Strength training will change the shape of the body!
Cardio - not so much.
Do your cardio, but doing only cardio will not give you the tone, the shape, the guns, or the glutes.
The tone won’t be toning if you’re not prioritizing strength training!
How Not to Mow the Pantry Down at Night:
1) Stop eating like a itty bitty bird.
2) Eat 30-50 grams of protein at your first meal.
3) Eat a minimum of 120 grams of protein a day.
4) Eat foods that you enjoy. Not boring, bland things.
5) Eat at least 25 grams of fiber a day!
The fitness industry has become so focused on “optimal” that it’s become overwhelmingly suboptimal.
- The “optimal” exercise based on muscle fiber orientation
- The “optimal” diet based on precisely how much it spikes your blood sugar
- The “optimal” technique based on “optimally” aligning your joints
Blah blah blah.
Optimal is a facade. It doesn’t exist. And chasing optimal will inevitably have you running in circles, never achieving what you truly want.
When you break it down, fitness and health really isn’t all that complicated.
Move your body. In every way it can. That’s what it’s made to do.
Eat whole, minimally processed, fresh foods every day. Have some “junk” food occasionally.
Lift a little heavier.
Move a little faster.
Reach a little farther.
Try to be a little bit better as often as you can.
And most importantly…….
Have fun.

Sis, you still should be training like we are trying to build muscle, even in a fat loss phase!
Give the body a reason to keep your precious muscle!
Mmmk?!
The same way you get muscle—
Is the same way you keep muscle!! Ya heard?!
Don’t change your workouts to circuit-only high-repetition workouts when you want to lose body fat.
