🚨 Jürgen Klopp has launched a scathing attack on the cooling breaks being used during this World Cup. 👊
"Football is being held hostage by executives sitting in air-conditioned offices.
These breaks are being presented as a shield for player welfare, a noble weapon against the heat. In reality, they are nothing more than a golden cage built for sponsors.
When I saw players standing around during cooling breaks while television timeouts dictated the rhythm of the match, I couldn't help but ask myself: who is the World Cup really serving?
The supporters? The players? Or the advertisers?
A World Cup match should flow like a river. Instead, we are building dams in the middle of it so commercials can be shown.
It's dangerous for the spirit of the game. Football used to be the main event, but it now risks becoming background music for an advertising show."
He didn't hold back. 👏👏

Elon Musk fell into history yesterday as the world’s first trillionaire.
“Journalists.” 🤡
A young Scottish girl who defended her sister from Muslim invader/predators has been vindicated by a British court. She should have a statue erected in her honor rather than have been charged in the first place. She has more heart than the leftist politicians destroying the UK.
“Come as You Are” is one of grunge’s most iconic anthems, written by Kurt Cobain and included on the album Nevermind (1991)
It was one of the new songs Nirvana recorded with producer Butch Vig at Sound City Studios (California) in 1991. Cobain created the iconic watery riff using a Small Clone chorus pedal; Krist Novoselic follows with the bass and Dave Grohl with the drums. The line “No, I don’t have a gun” accidentally made it into the vocals.
After the Nevermind boom, the label wanted to release it as the second single, though Cobain hesitated because the riff closely resembles that of Killing Joke’s “Eighties” (1985). The British band was upset and considered suing, but didn’t. Years later, Dave Grohl played drums on a Killing Joke album, sealing the peace.
The video, directed by Kevin Kerslake, was shot in a hangar with water pouring down, a baby swimming (a reference to the Nevermind cover), and a gun sinking. It reached the top 10 in several countries and remains a classic. In 2005, Aberdeen (Cobain’s hometown) put up a sign reading: “Welcome to Aberdeen – Come as you are.” It also features a memorable acoustic version on the 1993 MTV Unplugged.
Unfollow me if you have a problem with me being Black and not supporting Karmelo Anthony.
I will not be intimidated by the threats I’ve been receiving from Karmelo Anthony supporters.
He took someone else’s life. Austin Metcalf is never coming back. His family will never get to hug him again. His parents have to wake up every single day knowing their son is gone forever.
I am not standing with someone based on skin color.
I am a human being first. And one human being wrongly killed another human being.
If you think Austin’s killing was no big deal because he was white, then you are straight-up racist.
Wrong is wrong.
I don’t care if the victim is white, Black, Hispanic, Asian, or anything else. A life was taken, and I will never celebrate that. I will never excuse that. And I will never be bullied into defending it.
