Dr. Can Altunbulaklı, a post-doctoral researcher at TIREX, has secured funding under TÜBİTAK 1001 Program for his project, “Generation and Characterization of a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) Expressing Monocyte-Derived Dendritic Cell Platform.”
The 10th TİGED Congress will be held in collaboration with ARSHI and TIREX from November 22 to 25. The event will focus on recent developments in tx immunology, cell therapies, kidney paired donation, the use of AI, and the clinical and immunogenetic aspects of transplantation.
In our recent Transplant International paper, in which we analyzed more than 20,000 kidney transplantations from the CTS Study in Heidelberg (10.3389/ti.2025.15207), we report that a low tacrolimus CDR is a strong predictor of inferior outcomes.
The TIREX Team tackles data harmonization in transplantation! Using advanced methods like AI and common data models, we transform complex data into clear insights.
A recent commentary “A Choir Without Harmony Is Just Noise” applauds our effort and calls for global collaboration.
Tıp Fakültesi’nden Dr. Öğr. Üyesi İlker Kayı’nın liderliğinde yürütülecek, Halk Sağlığı, Psikoloji, Psikiyatri ve MAVA bölümlerinden öğretim üyelerimizin de araştırmacı olarak katkı sunacağı “EQUICARES: Community-driven Healthcare Access and Mental Health Promotion for Inclusive, Equitable, and Resilient European Societies” projesi, Avrupa Komisyonu’nun Horizon Europe Pillar 2 - Sağlık Kümesi kapsamında destek almaya hak kazandı. Ocak 2025 itibariyle başlayan proje, dezavantajlı grupların ruh sağlığı hizmetlerine erişiminin önündeki engelleri anlayarak, bu grupların ruh sağlığı hizmetlerine erişimini yenilikçi ve sürdürülebilir çözümlerle artırmayı hedefliyor.
Kendilerini içtenlikle tebrik ediyoruz.
The project titled “EQUICARES: Community-driven Healthcare Access and Mental Health Promotion for Inclusive, Equitable, and Resilient European Societies,” led by Asst. Prof. Dr. İlker Kayı from the School of Medicine, with contributions from faculty members in Public Health, Psychology, Psychiatry, and MAVA departments as researchers, has been granted support under the Horizon Europe Pillar 2 - Health Cluster by the European Commission. Starting in January 2025, the project aims to understand the barriers faced by disadvantaged groups in accessing mental health services and to enhance their access to these services through innovative and sustainable solutions.
We sincerely congratulate them on this achievement!
