Carl is one of my favorite people on the planet. Signed out of Compton HS 4th round 1980, played in big leagues, we met in Indy ball been friends for years, he has single handedly helped more kids in inner city & everywhere than anyone I know. Won't list their names, but he helped many current big leaguers when they were in 7th, 8th grade & younger. He knows exactly what's going on and admits the current environment would've pushed him out of baseball long before signing. This is the issue I'm trying to point out. It's bad for humanity and the game.. @ScoutDrip13 @RonnyBBG lived it.. Many many many more kids would attest to what I'm saying
