🎃🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃🎃🎃

We thought perhaps the opening lines of Terry's Wyrd Sisters will help set the mood...

"The wind howled 💨. Lightning stabbed at the earth erratically⚡, like an inefficient assassin. Thunder rolled back and forth across the dark, rain-lashed hills ⛈.
The night was as black as the inside of a cat. It was the kind of night, you could believe, on which gods moved men as though they were pawns on the chessboard of fate. In the middle of this elemental storm a fire gleamed among the dripping furze bushes like the madness in a weasel’s eye 🔥. It illuminated three hunched figures. As the cauldron bubbled an eldritch voice shrieked: “When shall we three meet again?”
There was a pause.
Finally another voice said, in far more ordinary tones: “Well, I can do next Tuesday.”

Finally had a play with the @pimoroni Plasma 2350, lighting up Skully for Halloween 🎃👻 since I nick Skully's Plasma 2040 for another project. Seems a little overkill lol.

Being able to make up custom leads is a Making super power!

Designed and printed a support for the @Raspberry_Pi HQ/GS camera, it mounts on top of a full sized Pi using the fixing holes for a hat. In the other photo, you can see my frist amtept, tried to cut down the weight, a little to much. :-)

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

@recantha @pimoroni Have you zoom into photo, the can, has Raspberry Pi all over it. 😃

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

I'm so excited about this 😀 https://t.co/blpnorwOej

@ForrisHilier @pimoroni @CircuitPython it seen just as a strip, so you will need to do the conversion to matrix format

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

I visited the @pimoroni pirate's towers last week with my boys for a factory visit and was treated to discontinued products to take away to play with, plus more swag for local hackspaces and kids.
3 Original Unicorn hats being controlled with a Pico W :-)

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

@ForrisHilier @pimoroni @CircuitPython If you using just one the standard Neopixel library will work.

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

@ForrisHilier @pimoroni I soldered some pins to the three headers next to the large IC. The Pico W is running @CircuitPython and using the adafruit_neopxl8 library. You can drive up to 8 strips at once from the Pico!

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

@wkeenan No we went to Boscastle harbour instead

@Worlds6440 Talking to the staff, they were sent a 100, should ask how many were left.

[Brian Corteil 🤖 @CannonFodder]

I picked up a new Pico 2 from the Cambridge Raspberry Pi store :-) looking forward to playing with soon
