Planning a holiday and/or need to renew a passport? Watch out for current scams promoting bogus ‘fast track’ passport renewal services and duping travellers into paying for holidays that don't exist.

How to prevent a WhatsApp takeover scam:
Never share the WhatsApp 6 digit code you get via SMS.
If a family member/friend makes an unusual request on WhatsApp, call him/her to confirm.
To block a sender within WhatsApp, press and hold on the message bubble and select ‘Report’.
