Someone offered to spoil me in exchange for being their League duo. I may know exactly what I want Warwick to do to me, but I could not tell you what lane he goes in. 😔
I will never understand people who pretend to be hopeless romantics searching for their forever person while being predatory and noncommittal behind closed doors. That level of deception is genuinely unimaginable to me.
I genuinely don’t understand why some people have such a massive issue with VTubers doing IRL content.
Like…who exactly decided that becoming a VTuber means signing a blood contract promising to never show your real face, body, outfits, travels, cosplays, or anything outside of your model ever again?
People are allowed to do both.
You can love being a VTuber, love your character, love the community you’ve built around it, AND still enjoy making IRL content.
If you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch it.
There’s a block button.
There’s a mute button.
There’s an unfollow button.
There’s even this revolutionary technique called scrolling past it.
What you don’t need to do is make entire videos tearing someone down, insulting them, questioning whether they’re a “real VTuber,” or treating them like they’ve personally committed a crime against VTubing because their content doesn’t fit your personal definition of what a VTuber should be.
VTubing has evolved massively over the years. There isn’t one sacred little rulebook everyone has to follow.
Some VTubers are completely anonymous.
Some do handcams.
Some cosplay their models.
Some do conventions IRL.
Some show their faces occasionally.
Some are basically hybrid creators who comfortably exist in both spaces.
And guess what?
They’re still VTubers
You are completely allowed to prefer traditional VTubing. You’re allowed to dislike face reveals or IRL content. Nobody is forcing you to consume it.
But your personal preference does not magically become a set of rules that everybody else has to follow.
Creators are allowed to evolve. They’re allowed to experiment. They’re allowed to enjoy different types of content without asking the VTuber council for permission first.
So if someone’s content isn’t for you?
Block them. Unfollow them. Keep scrolling.
You don’t have to be horrible to another human being just because they’re enjoying VTubing differently than you do.
It is genuinely that damn simple.
