Bcoz we voted for the govt and we expect them to take any actions necessary to maintain law&order. People with vested interest r trying to create emergency lik situation. The fact that u r still able to voice opinions favouring such hooligans proves there is free speech in India
If you don’t believe the vote chori discourse, answer this - why is the BJP going to such extraordinary lengths to defend Gyanesh Kumar, to the point of creating an Emergency like situation?
@_pranay_24 Seriously i was (and still am) so mad about UGC, taxation (on salaried), unreformed judiciary, roads....but pakka bjp agents bhare huye hai opposition mein. Kisi aur ko vote du toh kaise doon?
@dineshwadera@Rajatfca U should b ashamed of urslf for disrespecting the mandate of Indian public just bcoz it doesnt align with your opinion. Acting lik a sore loser crybaby
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
The modern-day Mir Jafar is here…
Day 1: Starlink is against national security.
Day 2: Welcome to India, Starlink.

One Tweet of Elon Musk & it clarified numerous points
1. Narendra Modi doesn’t surrender under any foreign power specially USA
2. India’s interests are most important for PM
3. Rahul Gandhi can go to any extent to undermine India
4. India needs Modi more than ever
5. We are in safe hands
Jai Hind 🇮🇳
Dear Elon,
India is a sovereign country, not your personal business project. You run a private company, not a charity.
Just because you want to enter the Indian market doesn't mean you get to mock people and lecture India on what it should do.
And please stop selling this idea that you are coming to save poor Indians. Starlink is VERY expensive. It's not free internet that you are giving away out of kindness.
You are here to do business, just like every other company. So let's not pretend this is some social service.
Nobody is stopping you from making an offer. Make it affordable, follow Indian rules, and let the government decide. That's how it works.
Please keep attitude in check, you just sell internet. You don't own India.
