@david_parker David you know how to read an agreement, there is no renewal, it is a review. Trump can use clause 34.6 to begin the 6 months exit process that requires Congress approval - after midterms.

The Clarity Act sets aside this matter as a negotiation term. Albertans could be forced to choose between Canadian and Albertan citizenship after independence.
