The launch of the @monad Layer-1 blockchain was one of the most anticipated events in the crypto space, fueled by a successful funding round and promises of a high-performance, EVM-compatible platform.

1- @aPriori We paid the fees while signing in and checking it daily and promoted it from time to time. Even in X, TG & YT, we and our community were not eligible.

The project is developed on Monad chain, but it has already listed its token on Ethereum and BNBChain.

I don't know who these people airdropped it to everyone is outside our total community.
Mostly, the project allocation has been given to Bianance Alpha TGE events users.

2- @OrochiNetwork airdropped tokens to users, but the link to claim the allocation hasn't yet live.
Binance Alpha has mostly allocated the allocations that users should have received.
The team is selling the tokens and booking profits, causing the token price to dumped.

🚨 Note: I know Monad did not say that they would airdrop to testnet users.
But they did give full indications that users would receive airdrops, just like there are airdrops in the crypto industry.

⚠️ Reality Check:

Having 1.2M+ followers and rewarding just 5.5K people is beyond unfair.
Even if the testnet was overfarmed, Monad could’ve easily rewarded FA Holders, Recognisers (6.9K), or SBT Holders (~600K) who genuinely contributed.

Other L1s like Arbitrum rewarded 625K+ users and thrived — Monad could have done the same if they cared. 🧠

💡 Simple Fix (If Monad Team Cares):

✅ Allocate a small % of the airdrop to SBT / Recogniser holders who interacted early.
✅ Implement anti-Sybil filters (like Gitcoin score or reputation-based tasks).
✅ Rebuild trust with your original supporters — the ones who made you who you are.

Monad didn’t create a community — they farmed it for clout.
They took advantage of loyalty and used people as tools for growth.

If this isn’t fixed soon, the community will rise against such greedy teams & expose every fake L1 project built on false promises. 🚫

🚨 Having 1.2M+ followers/community and selecting only 5,500 users for the airdrop is already a shame step taken by the @monad team.

Also it’s not just about small numbers - it’s about the fake promises made earlier.

Everyone knows what happened, so not talking on this much. but, I have a simple solution - if they fix this, great; if not, it's already top season for L1 chains, and surviving at this level without community support is going to be tough.

📢SIMPLE FIX :-

Allocate a small percentage of the airdrop to 1M+ SBT holders who interacted with the Testnet early.
Then, during the claim, team may also implement sybil filtering tasks like Gitcoin score or similar mechanisms.

The number itself isn’t that big - just around ~600k users. (Arbitrum also airdropped to 625k+ users, and we all know how sustainable the project turned out.)

- Rebuild community trust

- Support long-term sustainability of project

- Earlier, $OM token vesting was announced to begin on 28 Nov 2024. But on the promised day, no updates were provided. After several days, the team finally shared a vague statement, leaving the community confused saying delay in vesting schedule & reset of tokenomics as it will be decided through voting.

- Now, they've shared a new proposal & plan of Tokenomics & Vesting.

👉 Key points from their new proposal:

1️⃣ They admitted new vesting will start from Sep, 2025 to Mar, 2027 (2 years for a minimal airdrop 😶).
2️⃣ They promised no one will lose their $OM allocations, but now 2nd anti-sybil round to disqualify more wallets.
3️⃣ Distribution was initially planned within a month, but now there's a 6-month cliff after TGE + only 0.3% unlock per day.
