Air India Frankfurt–Delhi Flight Diverted to Jaipur After Squawk 7500 Alert
An Air India flight, AI2030, operating from Frankfurt to Delhi aboard a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, was diverted to Jaipur on October 14 after Ahmedabad Air Traffic Control reportedly received a Squawk 7500 signal, the international transponder code indicating hijacking or unlawful interference.
🛬 The aircraft landed safely at Jaipur International Airport at approximately 9:35 a.m. local time, with all 306 passengers reported safe.
🔎 Following landing, the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay, where security agencies conducted precautionary checks. Passengers and crew were safely evacuated under security supervision.
⚠️ The exact circumstances behind the alert remain under investigation. Preliminary reports suggest the signal may have been triggered inadvertently, but the cause has not been conclusively established.
Important: A Squawk 7500 transmission triggers a serious security response, but it does not by itself confirm that a hijacking has occurred.

One of the pilots in the cockpit of the Amazon Air Boeing 767 that overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday expressed concerns about the aircraft’s excessive speed — as alarms sounded in the plane — before it touched down, newly revealed information from the cockpit voice recorder shows.
The National Transportation Safety Board released the account of what was heard in the cockpit of the Amazon cargo jet in an investigative update Wednesday evening that it cautioned was preliminary and subject to change.
The summary detailed there were several automated warnings from the Ground Proximity Warning System heard in the cockpit as the plane descended. Twice, the computerized voice warned “sink rate,” alerting the pilots the plane was dropping too fast. Five times, it warned “too low terrain,” which can mean the plane is flying too low and too fast.
NTSB investigators examine the wreckage field Monday after a Boeing 767 cargo plane operating as 21 Air LLC Flight 7598 overran the end of Runway 30 while landing Sunday at Miami International Airport (MIA).
@MikeGranby@Agent4842@ONLYinDADE Thats why it's called pilot error because the pilots was the last factor but that doesn't mean we need to blame the pilots cause it could be airline's mistake too if that's pilot fatigue because they have a strict schedule will you keep blaming the pilots?
@MikeGranby@Agent4842@ONLYinDADE And yeah because in aviation you don't have just one contributing factor there's a lot that's why the NTSB works with the swiss cheese model that's why "pilot error" is not that precise
