I know this quote is thrown around a lot, but it's truly one of the best ways to rewire your trading brain. Most people are taught to trust the consensus opinion. It's hammered into us from a young age

The market preys on consensus opinions. If you're constantly letting headlines & other people convince you what moves to make, the market will chew you up & spit you out

You have to be able to identify situations where the masses are being manipulated while smart money lurks around the corner. You have to be comfortable walking in the opposite direction of the flock

Most people would walk right off a cliff if everyone else was doing it
