For a social safety net and market regulation. Against state surveillance and overseas intervention. Where democratic socialism meets libertarian ideals.
This Labor Day, if you've ever benefited from:
— The weekend
— 40-hour work weeks
— Workplace safety standards
— A minimum wage
— Paid time off
thank a union.
Unions don’t just improve working conditions for their members, they help every American worker.
Happy Labor Day!

Working class moms face so many challenges and hardships under this system — the skyrocketing cost of childcare and healthcare, unaffordable grocery prices and rent, an underfunded education and social security system and so much more.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let’s recommit ourselves to the movement for a new kind of society where moms and all working people have their basic needs guaranteed. We need universal healthcare and childcare, schools not war, housing as a guaranteed right, and other measures that are clearly necessary but never seriously on the table under this dictatorship of the billionaires.
Moms deserve a new system –– a socialist system where the needs of the people come first!

Joined another fired up DFL organizing convention in CD2!
Thank you to everyone who showed up on a Saturday to put democracy in action. This is how people — not fear or money — shape what our party fights for.
As communities come together tonight at the Capitol for a candlelit vigil in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People, we reaffirm our commitment to addressing this crisis.
We stand with Native communities in the fight for long-overdue justice and protection for MMIP.
🇵🇸 NAKBA 78 NYC PROTEST 🗝️
🚨 ALL OUT FOR GAZA & PALESTINE
🗓️ FRIDAY MAY 15TH
⏰4:30PM
📍 WASHINGTON SQ PARK NEW YORK, NY
⏳ RESISTANCE SINCE 1948 ⏳
78 years of Nakba. 78 years of genocide. 78 years of resistance.
On Nakba Day we join Palestinians around the world in uplifting our people’s resistance to genocide, zionism and settler colonialism since 1948. The Nakba, commemorated on May 15th of every year is ongoing to this day, as millions of Palestinians continue to be starved in Gaza, while thousands more are massacred and displaced from Gaza to the West Bank in “israel’s” ongoing genocide funded and carried out with the United States.
“Everything happening in Gaza today is not new. It has been happening since 1948, now on a larger scale for the world to see. Proof was never the problem, because we know this is how colonization operates. This is what they do to indigenous people. Palestine is not an anomaly, it is a litmus test, a moral compass, and what is allowed to happen in Gaza will not stop there.”- Nerdeen Kiswani (WOL’s chair & founder)
It is right here, in our own backyard, that this genocide is funded and made possible, and it is up to us to continue mobilizing against the ongoing Nakba until there is a complete end to the genocide.
Join us as we flood the streets of New York, amplifying the voices of our people and refusing to stay silent, demanding an end to the siege and blockade of Gaza and an end to the ongoing genocide, until Palestine is free within our lifetime 🇵🇸

Republicans refused to hold Trump accountable on Jan 6th and they certainly aren’t holding him accountable now.
The American people deserve better. Vote for people who will work for you, not against you.
I am very glad to see the growing support for @RepDeliaRamirez’s Melt ICE Act!
Ending immigrant detention and monitoring while redirecting funding to our communities would deal a critical blow to ICE while putting our communities first—I'm proud to be a cosponsor.
