@Variety Yeah if that was the headspace he was in the whole time while playing her "dad" Hopper should have stayed dead at the end of S3. At least we wouldn't have this imbalance where El grieved him for a year while he moved on faster than most people do when their pets die
@esrtweet@11975MHz I love Fedora but it has all kinds of broken power management nonsense that resulted in me having to reboot the computer after I stepped away for a half hour. I switched it to a profile that just does a shut down after 5 hours of inactivity.
Do NOT mess with fandom.
It’s a double-edged sword. Do right by fans, and they’ll follow you to the ends of the Earth. But betray them, and they will cut you!
@EveKeneinan Asmongold is a secular center-right person which means he has the drive for optimizing society for stability and order, but without the religious moral framework that usually provides a counterbalance against the more vile ways of getting there. Fascinating individual.
@omgsidewalks Most food waste is regulatory. I remember in a public college, fresh trays of Mac & Cheese, burgers, chicken were thrown out at 2:31PM because the employee union for the food service workers forbade them from serving food from then until 4PM, and also us from serving ourselves.
@zeta_globin Whatever you do don't get off at North Philadelphia. Even if the train is on fire, the fire will be safer than existing outside at that station.
@mads986 They were setting it up in both directions. She was born with her powers, she isn't herself without them. BUT, sorteria was introduced as a way to temporarily take away Henry's powers. She could have had a normal life but with the option of having it removed to regain them.
@ElevenMikeyFan I remember watching this and being relieved "there is no possible way she ends it all after hearing this, even Kali was moved by it" and then her "I'm not Sarah" monologue worried me again
@StillOvaIt@ContactVVR@Richard43023408@XaLaRa_Se_Lew It had the opposite effect on me when I was there. I was ripping the whole thing off including the ring, and since it was now difficult to screw back onto the bottle, I was chucking them anywhere. Never threw out a bottle cap without the bottle my entire life in the US lol
@lilygreenxx@h4zeheart@amidalahbu Yup. Mike was the only one in that room (aside from Lucas) who had seen her disintegrate saving them from the demogorgon so he knew she would go beyond her own limits at her own risk if she thought it would help. He was just trying to convince her she was worth saving too!
@dhewlett@amazon@PrimeVideo The dedicated fanbase includes people who started watching it this decade. It's already timeless, a new show just needed to be a gate into this existing universe so of course it needed to be similar. One new fan would go on to watch the previous 17 seasons. Win-win!!
@BaronDestructo As long as he doesn't meddle with the creative process I'd be down... the biggest expense would probably be wresting the IP from Amazon, y'all worked wonders with a shoestring budget... or even a picture of a shoestring.
@Arvandor131295@Grummz@AmazonMGMStudio It bombed because it was ahead of its time. Rewatch SGU today, it's good. But regardless, this new series would have been more like Atlantis & SG-1.
@thatstarwarsgrl@amazon@AmazonMGMStudio@PrimeVideo The fact that younger millennial and zoomer women, the category that Scifi almost never captures, are the main demo coming to the defense of this (having watched the existing shows) means it absolutely would have attracted "modern audiences" at levels Disney wishes they could.
