What an awesome experience this was for the students in our CAPS Design strand. A huge thank you to Ron Green and his team of talented folks who contributed to the event! So cool!
Such a cool acknowledgement of the work our Design and Engineering students are engaged in at Cedar Trails Exploration Center! Check out this post by our very own USD 232 Education Foundation...Thank you so much for your support https://t.co/VBVEfdHaQS
Bioscience students were able to see first hand the types of evidence analysis that takes place at JOCO criminalistics lab. Highlights were toxicology, biology and DNA analysis, firearms and weapons analysis and blood pattern analysis where they observed the CSI agents.
Stickers for days. It was a pleasure to host Monticello Trails MS this morning. 250 8th graders arrived at CTEC CAPS for a 2 hr immersive experience. Each student left with a sticker created and printed in house by our design students. Hope to see your applications soon. ;)
This past Saturday our FTC Robotics team solidified the top spot and are now the League Champions! They also earned the innovation award, and the team got 2nd place for their engineering portfolio. Way to go team! Off to state they go on March 4th.
Raised garden #1 well underway during first block thus morning. Way to go, Emerging Tech students! Another huge thank you to @NeighborsConstruct for their support of this client-connected project with Mize Elementary.
Look what showed up at CTEC CAPS! We’re so grateful to @NeighborsConstr for their support of our collab. with Mize Elementary. Emerging Tech students are creating wheelchair accessible gardens with this lumber. The end goal hopes to yield vegetables that will be utilized by all.
Really cool collab between my design/emerging tech students & Mrs. Shelly Souder’s visual art students at Mize Elementary. 81- 4th graders created mandala drawings for the Veterans Community Project. CTEC made the wooden coasters & prepared the files in Adobe to be laser etched.
Congratulations to our USD232 CTEC Cerberus robotics team for their 2nd place finish at the FTC competition today! It was impressive to watch the crew work together under pressure to problem-solve on the fly. Way to go everyone and best of luck moving onto your next challenge!
