Top of the Empire State at sunset. Surreal.

Hadn't been to New York at all until June, now back again for third time since. Kind of starting to love the place! 🗽🍎🇺🇸

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

I only saw the first 25 mins as I was travelling. But so many questions for RLB to answer.

Where has the compete level gone? Gone from warriors to wet-wipes.

And the winger situation is hugely worrying. Can't spend tens of millions on the position and then play full backs and midfielders there. Once or twice situationally, yes, but consistently suggests an issue somewhere.

Of course, today was about stupid individual errors from centre backs. Can't tactically account for those. And Brobbey is a huge miss. So I won't be pushing a panic button yet by any means.

That said, anyone who isn't even a little worried simply hasn't been paying attention. #SAFC

[James Saxton @SaxtonJame54914]

@Capt_Fishpaste what do you make of that. I love RLB but today that wasn’t his best performance. Has he lost the dressing room? What’s this love for the Hume experiment? Something seems off.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@_toosb There is that. But mainly there is just this really good team who you just can't find any admiration for at all. In fact you just feel angry watching them.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Watching Man City is a bizarre experience these days, isn't it. They're just impossible to respect.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

How the hell did VAR look at that and think: "aye, good spot that, ref"?! 🤯

🚨 Wilson Isidor tells me he’s, ‘never experienced love like the love he gets from Sunderland fans’ - and what gift did he receive from an SAFC supporter that he and his wife love?!

🗣️”My wife sent me a TikTok video - a girl saying I’m her favourite player and she’d given me something before a game… It was a scrapbook - full of love for me and a message for me inside - and I brought it home to show my wife. She was so happy! We loved it!”

🗣️ “Sunderland and me are like a love story. I’ve never experienced this love in my life. Sunderland is life. They’re the best fans in the UK. That’s why I love them so much.”

Magnificent #safc winner features prominently on @TheiPaperSport back page today...

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Of course he is 😎 #SAFC

1 - Since 2004-05, Luke O'Nien is the first player to make 100+ appearances in each of the Championship (135), League One (149) & League Two (101) before then playing in major European competition for an English club.

Progression.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

We are massive 😂😂😂 #SAFC

Sunderland become the quickest English team to reach five European wins after dramatic victory

@joshmartin691a @JohnKaysCanoe As long as those who want to gamble and can do it safely still can, I'm not really arsed tbh. I believe in self-policing and personal choice.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

I hate this idea that gambling is a universally harmful thing that must be demonised because some people become addicted to it. It's like trying to get rid of all alcohol for everyone because some people become alcoholics.

[Andy Burnham @andyburnham]

Vape shops. Betting shops. Dodgy businesses.

If you look at your high street these days and think ‘who asked for this?’, you’re not alone.

I’m doing something about it. We’re giving local people and councils more control over what opens, and tougher powers to crack down on businesses that aren’t good for our communities.

For too long, Westminster has stood by while our high streets declined. That ends now.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Consider me an even BIGGER Jules Ahoka fan. #SAFC

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Well consider me a BIG Jules Ahoka fan. #SAFC

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Surely no one was stupid enough to have expected Sunderland to do that the easy way? 😂

Great win that. Loving my Congolese midfielders tonight 🇨🇩 🫡 #SAFC

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

Imagine this ref trying to referee Brobbey. He'd give a foul for a sideways glance. #SAFC

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@bathroombuddy17 Wasn't talking about Reform voters. And when Reform members stop labeling 2 billion Muslims animals, I'll stop labeling them animals. Starts with them. Until then, they, and you, can keep the lectures to yourselves. Cheers 👍🏻

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

The real animals are Reform.

[Politics UK @PolitlcsUK]

🚨 NEW: An ITV undercover investigation into Reform UK has revealed councillors describing Muslims as “parasites” and ethnic children as “animals”

One councillor was shown saying “we need a real nuclear option, like literally, drag them out their homes, stick them on planes and f*** them off to Pakistan”

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@bathroombuddy17 Reform have 270,000 members, not 'millions'.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@joperec @JamieArm2003 You only seem to want to talk about Islam. Go find someone else to thrust your obsession upon. I'm out.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@joperec @JamieArm2003 No. My view is that if you are a racist, support racists, or accept racists you're an animal. Joining Reform require at least one of the above. I never brought Islam or anyone else into it. You and your bigotry did.

[Michael Graham @Capt_Fishpaste]

@joperec @JamieArm2003 Sorry, but I do NOT 'know' that Islam is an extremist ideology. That's your discrimination and ignorance talking, not mine. Kindly keep it out of my mouth.
