After a long 2 1/2 years, my Mandalorian costume is finally in a place to call finished!
I debuted it at celebration, sadly didn’t get too many pics. But here’s some of the ones I did get! This was my first ever cosplay and damn was it a good one to kick it off!

@PhilSzostak I wish Art of books for Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, Mando S3, Ahsoka, and Andor would come out. Hopefully Skeleton Crew as well!

Been collecting and studying these books my whole life and was bummed the first chance I was able to work on a project, they weren’t made.

I know people don't like the volume now, but man... The Book of Boba Fett used it to make a solitary elevator set piece appear to move up, have the character exit and walk around, and then get in and go down again, all in a 2-min long take.

VFX artist here, heres what happened: Clients continually change the brief, shot design and planning are no longer a priority, and we have a lot more work to get through in a shorter amount of time. We have and can create work better than back in the day, it just needs the right leadership team, planning, and time to make sure it happens.

The average film changes a lot more during postproduction now than they used to. This means new work gets added to our plate and work we’ve already started (and sometimes even finished) gets scrapped. The “fix it in post” mentality also doesn’t help.

As with everything VFX related, it’s almost always the studio/leadership team who is responsible for when things don’t get done up to scratch and never the actual artists fault.

• Fix Health to make Vehicles stronger. A single sticky-nade shouldn’t kill a warthog and all 3 passengers.
•Nerf cindershot damage output towards vehicles. 2-4 shots should not destroy a warthog or scorpion
